Thanks for tuning in to this week’s short and sweet weekly collective reading. These readings are now free but please keep in mind that doing readings takes energy so if you can pay for a subscription or just make a love donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Don’t forget that I also do personal readings.
Now, on to this week’s collective reading, which is free from April Foolery. Friendly reminder: if it don’t apply, then let it fly. Everything isn’t for everybody.
There is so much green and growth in these cards! Very appropriate since we are officially in springtime now.
I got the feeling from these cards that your abundance is right there--as soon as you get your mind right.
The plant on the Temperance card is camellia sinensis--better known as tea! This is what tea looks like before the leaves are harvested, dried, and processed to end up as the brown tea leaves with which we are more familiar.
I don't know about you but I am from the South and we serve (sweet) tea all the time, especially to visitors. It is an unspoken invitation to linger, rest, and relax. Likewise, this card is asking you to rest, relax, and focus—and also heal, as tea has been used to stop the bleeding from minor wounds, ease the pain of sunburn, and to reduce eye puffiness. Temperance is a fire card, so focus all that energy into something lasting. Play the long game and balance wants with needs, impulse with planning. Get your mind right to do what you need to do.
The Adelita (knight) of air is asking you to open up to new ideas and ways of thinking. Because air moves fast, you may have to adapt to new things on the fly instead of taking time to ponder and assess. Thinking on your feet is an underrated skill.
The herb associated with this card is oregano: another healing herb, known for its strong natural antibiotic properties. What infection or disease needs to be healed in your life, on any level (mental, physical, spiritual, emotional)?
Thanks for stopping by.
