I definitely got a job/employment vibe when I looked at these cards.

Some of you could be getting some communication regarding a job: a written job offer (including emails), or maybe an invitation to interview.

I am also getting that someone may be doing a background check for a job and something may come up, something that you may have regretted in the past. The best thing to do is own up to it, don’t make excuses for it, and keep it moving. Whatever happens will happen.

The imagery on the 5 of Water is that of starfish. Starfish are renowned for their ability to grow back an arm if it’s been removed. This job may be a bounce back for someone, or another chance to get right. You may also be thinking of what went wrong the last time you had a similar job, or was in a similar situation. Whenever I see the 5 of Water/Cups, I think, “Don’t look back.” Don’t stay stuck in the past. Focus on what is and what will be, not what was. Take the lessons from the past and apply them to the future.

I also picked up that someone may be getting an intervention regarding some sort of addiction, or someone discovers your addiction (maybe on a background check or some sort of investigation?). Addiction usually walks hand in hand with shame; if someone calls you out about it, take the help that is offered. There is no shame in wanting to get better.
